Welcome to this month’s Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month’s theme is a color challenge: Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder, and Mint Macaron. I’m guessing the inspiration for the color combo might be the Carried Away DSP that you can choose for FREE when you place a $50 or more order during Sale-a-Bration this year! But, maybe you already knew that if you arrived here after visiting Janet’s or Jodi’s blogs.
You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t been stamping a lot recently. But, I did not want to miss out on our hop! So, I put together a simple card and wanted to avoid using the DSP. I chose to use Night of Navy Card Stock, Mint Macaron Ribbon, and Watermelon Wonder Ink. What do you think?
The card measures 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ so it still fits inside of a Stampin’ Up! Medium Envelope – and doesn’t require extra postage. Well….maybe that bow will cause postal issues.
This card features one of the soon-to-be-available Second Release Sale-a-Bration items: Reverse Words Stamp Set. I was immediately drawn to this set for some reason and have used it a few times since receiving it. I think I love it because it looks like a fun technique, but it’s just a stamp! Super easy!
Finally, I used my corner rounder to round some of the corners on the Night of Navy Card Stock pieces and the top Whisper White layer. The little silver enamel stars add some fun pops!
Reverse Words Card Supplies
The supplies I used to make today’s card are listed below. The stamp set will be available as an additional free Sale-a-Bration item starting on February 21st. It’ll be available in Wood Mount and Clear Mount!
I hope you’ll continue to hop along through all of the blogs. Enjoy!
