Thanks for stopping by! Today’s post is special – it’s the monthly Stampers’ Dozen Blog Hop featuring some wonderful Stampin’ Up! demonstrator “Leaders” from the US and Canada. Granted, you may already know that if you’re coming from Janet’s or Jodi”s blogs. We’re highlighting new products in the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochure. I’m sure you’ll see a wide variety of projects this week!
I hate to admit, but I almost forgot about the hop this month. I was running short on time but then realized that I hadn’t shared with you the final six cards I’d made for swaps last month! SO….you’re getting six for the price of one today from me! And, if you’d like to see the cards I received back from the swaps (there were almost 200), I’m sharing them each and every Sunday in my Swap Card Sunday Series!
Whenever I design cards for a large swap, I really work hard to create a nice variety. A few of the layouts are repeated. But, I think I successfully used a different stamp set or suite for each card.
While making these cards, I have to admit, I fell in love with Sweet Sugarplum! That color has never done anything for me – even if it was a top seller! BUT, when paired with Old Olive, I’m in love! I’ve completely fallen in love with the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper which features these two. I love the floral prints on one side and the more geometric patterns on the other. Have I used the word “love” enough? Ha Ha!
If you get lost along the way, here is a list of everyone involved in the hop this month (note these links will take you to their blogs and not directly to the hop post):
