While I haven’t been posting much, it doesn’t mean I haven’t been stamping! Between Christmas cards and Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration swaps, I’ve made around 400 cards this month! I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the swaps I’ve made using the new products! I made 16 of each of the three designs I’m sharing with you today. In all, I’ll get back 185 different cards which I’ll share in my Swap Card Sunday series!
Cool Treats Suite
This first card features some products in the Cool Treats Suite. If you’ve ordered through me in the past year, you should have received your catalogs by now. If you’d like a copy and don’t have a demonstrator, please shoot me a note and I’ll be glad to drop one in the mail to you.
The Cool Treats stamp set was one I received for free in early November at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage conference. The paper, while it coordinates, is actually one of the free items you’ll be able to select during Sale-a-Bration – it starts on January 4th!
I just love the way the ice cream cone was cut and embossed using the framelits! I didn’t do anything special – it does that automatically. The little sprinkles are also new and in the Cool Treats Suite. These products are all found on pages 32 – 33 in the Occasions Catalog.
Sending Love Suite
This next card is quite obviously a Valentine and features products from the Sending Love Suite found on pages 14 – 15 in the Occasions Catalog. This suite contains a DSP Stack – a pack containing 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ patterened paper. Unlike previous packs, this one contains 6 pages of 8 double-sided designs. In the past they only contained 4.
The suite contains all sorts of fun products including the Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack (both ribbons are on the card below) and the Sending Love Wooden Embellishments. But, there are also printed glassine sheets, framelits, paper clips, and an adorable stamp set.
Falling in Love Suite
I’m absolutely in love with the soft colors in the third and final card I’m sharing today. I’m FINALLY using Sweet Sugarplum. I don’t think I’d used that color since it was introduced. However, the new Falling in Love Designer Series Paper contains the color and I’m LOVING it! The yummy Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon is also new and in the Falling in Love Suite of products found on pages 50 – 51 in the Occasions Catalog.
The die might be my favorite, though! It’s a panel from the Window Box Thinlits on page 43. My card was inspired by the sample at the bottom of page 43. I love that you can use the panel to create the fun die cut floral image.
And, finally, the sequins came from the Cupcakes & Crousels Embellishment Kit on page 9.
Whew! Did you get all of that? I hope you’ve got your wish list going. You’ll be able to order these products starting on January 4th. And, remember, you’ll also be able to choose a free Sale-a-Bration item for every $50 you order! It’s our favorite time of the year!
Stay tuned for more swap ideas. I have seven more designs I’m creating.
